Donkey Kong's Dark Past

Was the Donkey Kong lineage in charge of the United Fruit Company during the early 1900s? Think about it. 
They both like juicy bananas and they both obtained a vast quantity of jungle seemingly overnight. 
As a detective, I'm not allowed to believe in coincidences.

Funky Kong's PTSD from serving in the Great Ape War gives him so much more depth as a character, I wish Retro would stop being cowards and expand upon the groundwork Rare left them.
