Sumireko first appeared in Urban Legend in Limbo (2015), but most fan animation projects—such as Memories of Phantasm, whose Episode 4 was released in 2019—had their scripts and character designs finalized earlier, leaving little room to incorporate newer characters. Over time, if future animation projects expand into storylines related to her, she may eventually make a formal appearance.
